When I give gifts, I always strive for the item given to be practical but a little luxury for them. Something they may not think to buy themselves but it would be really nice to have, or something stylish they maybe didn't know about yet, but is useful and not just going to add to the "stuff" they already have. And I always think: is this a gift I would like getting myself?

A good pair of earphones/earbuds I think is such a gift.

Today is an extra special day. I am excited and fortunate to be able to participate in a campaign to give back to the community and help empower women. I'm sharing these gift ideas on my Wednesday Wishlist because they're all items I'd want for myself!! Would it be weird if I threw a party and attached a link to this post in the invite? That's not tacky at all, right? LOL But seriously, when I think of gifts to give, especially for people who don't NEED anything, I like to get them something that is useful and (for the most part) practical, but might not be something they'd buy for themselves. A little something pretty for the home or to pamper themselves. And save for one item, everything here is under $50!

Holiday shopping sales have begun. Which means you need to not procrastinate (like me) and start thinking about what you're going to give people next month (if you are actually going to give things. :) ) A tradition we have that I grew up with, and my husband's family did too, and now we're carrying on with our family, is to get a new pair of pajamas on Christmas eve to wear for Christmas morning.
